Sheeva Software LLC is a Michigan software company. We design, build, and license software for businesses that need systems suited to how they actually operate.

What we do

We take software from design through to a working, supported product — the data model, the interface people use all day, the reporting behind it, and the practical details of installing and maintaining it in a real workplace.

We work both on our own products and on software built for a specific business. Small operations are our focus: the ones whose real workflow rarely fits whatever general-purpose tool they have been asked to use.

Current work

Our present focus is point-of-sale and business management software for independent retail — recording transactions, tracking inventory, managing customer records, and producing the reports and compliance records those businesses are required to keep.

How we prefer to build

Where it suits the product, we ship software our customers install and run on hardware they own. It keeps a business's records in its own building, and it means access to those records does not depend on a subscription to us staying active. Not every problem calls for that approach, but it is our default when it fits.
