This policy explains what information Sheeva Software LLC ("Sheeva Software," "we," "us") collects through this website and through our SMS text messaging program, and how we handle it.

Information we collect

We collect very little, and we do not require you to create an account to use this site.

• If you contact us. When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
• If you opt in to text messages. We collect your name, your mobile phone number, and a record of your consent: the date and time you opted in, how you opted in, and who recorded it. We also keep a record of the messages we send you and your opt-out requests.
• Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records routine technical information about requests to this site, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used to operate and secure the site.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build advertising profiles about visitors.

How we use information

• To respond to questions and correspondence you send us.
• To send the text messages you agreed to receive, and to honour opt-out requests.
• To operate, secure, and troubleshoot this website.
• To meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations that apply to us.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
• We do not rent or trade contact information.

SMS text messaging

Sheeva Software LLC sends text messages only to people who have agreed to receive them. That means business contacts evaluating or licensing our software, who opt in verbally when our representative asks during a product demonstration. Messages include sample customer reminders sent during demonstrations, notices about your software account, and replies to your support requests. Message frequency varies, up to about 5 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. You can also email us at the address below. Opting in is never a condition of buying or licensing our software.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. The only exception is the SMS delivery provider that carries our messages, which processes your number solely to deliver them.

Business data belonging to our customers

Much of our software is licensed to businesses and installed on hardware those businesses own and control. Where that is the case, the operating records a business creates in our software remain on that business's own systems. Sheeva Software does not host or receive that data through this website, and this policy does not govern it. Any product of ours that does handle customer data on our systems is covered by the agreement for that product.

If you are a customer of a business that uses our software and have a question about your personal records, please contact that business directly. They control those records, not us.

Service providers

We use third-party providers to host this website, to deliver our email, and to deliver our text messages. These providers process information on our behalf in order to provide those services, and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

Retention

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to answer your question and to maintain ordinary business records, and then delete it. Server logs are retained on our hosting provider's standard schedule.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the limited information this website handles.

Your choices

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the revised version here and update the effective date above.
